This is a dragon hatching from an egg I made for the decorated egg completion at the local poultry show (adult class) it took me three days, using modelling clay, a Muscovy duck egg, and a set of kids craft paints (also a couple of bits of wire for the tail and wings)

I came 3rd place, being beaten by toilet roll bunny and an egg painted like a police man....they told me they didn't believe I had made it, but that's just how it goes I suppose...
